Wood Divan
Bed Base
Our wood divan bed bases are made to order in the fabric of your choice.
A matching headboard can be added for a beautiful bedroom suite solution.
Standard sizes are 90cm, 160cm and 180 cm widths with a length of 200cm.
Divan height is +/- 21cm.
The ultimate height will vary with the mattress depth but legs can be chosen in varying sizes to achieve the final desired height.

Dealing with a Twin Bed Scenario
We often supply a pair of 'twin' beds that can be used in a twin bed format or joined to form a double.
Typical sizes for this are single beds of 90 cm.
The mattress solution in this case can have a heavy duty zip added to join them when in the double format.
Headboard solutions for the twin scenario can be individual or single extra wide width.

Good quality modern mattresses negate the need for further spring systems in the base divan unit.
However for clients that require an open form base we can supply divans with a slatted frame structure (similar to use in our platform style beds).
This type of divan arguably provides better air circulation and may be preferable with latex and memory foam based mattresses.
Fabrics for divan bases
As with most products from Casa e Jardim you can apply any fabric to a divan base. Choose from the thousands of examples in our beautiful collections. There is no charge to apply the fabric, you only pay for the actual fabric used.

Bespoke Divan Fabric
Clients at Casa & Jardim often opt to have their divan upholstered in a fabric that matches the headboard or complements the bedroom scheme.
In the example opposite the divan base has been upholstered in a 'Pedroso & Osorio' fabric to complement the padded fabric headboard. C&J provide this service at no extra cost to the divan base, simply the cost of the fabric.
