Description
The Long Island lounging collection features 12 seating solutions and 3 coffee tables made from upholstered aluminium with a polyethylene suspension structure . These armchairs, sofas and tables are modern yet extremely comfortable.
Long Island specifies the highest quality exterior fabrics coupled with waterproof liners.

“My goal with Long Island was to make it as desirable and as well finished as a piece of indoor furniture, with a similarly detailed design”, explains designer Christophe Pillet, adding “I sought to create the feeling that these pieces have always existed”. Straight shapes and slim lines define the silhouette of this modular collection of outdoor sofas. Eminently versatile, the pieces that make up the collection include an armchair, a sofa and a chaise longue, which adapt to fit each space. According to Pillet, its simple design aspires “to offer universal elegance and great comfort”.
The Designer - Chrisophe Pillet
Christophe Pillet is a renowned French designer, who after graduating from the Decorative Arts School in Nice and finalizing his Masters in the Domus Academy in Milan has conquered the world with his elegant, sensual creations. Also known as the design director for Lacoste, Pillet is best recognized for his refined furniture design and interior architecture.
The lounging Long-Island range includes 2 sofas an armchair, 9 different modules for large layouts and 3 sizes of coffee table.
A high-tech method of suspension with fibre- glass-reinforced polypropylene slats.
This suspension design eliminates the need for a solid base structure and features slats combined with foam.
The slats are inserted between two layers of foam giving unparalleled support and strength with flexibility for comfort.

Powdered Coated Aluminium
Powder coated aluminium with epoxy resin binder.
The aluminium used by POINT undergoes a powder-coating process that guarantees high durability, corrosion resistance and great colour stability outdoors. This finish, which is composed of polyester resins, pigments and TGIC-free additives, provides an even surface that is smooth to the touch and is easy to maintain.
Standard colours are Mineral White and Gunmetal Grey, chosen to be adaptable to almost any exterior scheme.
